Fees vary depending on specific practitioner and location, ranging from $125 to $250 per session.
The services of a psychologist, social worker, or psychotherapist are often covered in full or in part by extended health benefits available through your workplace. Please contact your insurance provider or Human Resources Department to verify how your plan may compensate you for our services.
We’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include coverage for the services of a psychologist? social worker? psychotherapist?
- Is there a specific amount covered per therapy session or a total annual amount?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Payment is due at the end of each visit. Cash, Interac e-Transfer, credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or Visa/Mastercard Debit payment is accepted.
Certain insurance providers may have a direct billing arrangement with us, depending on your specific plan.
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. As such, we require an absolute minimum of 24 business hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a charge for the full session fee. Business hours are 9:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Requests for cancellation or rescheduling received outside of business hours will be considered received on the next business day.
