Josie holds a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Toronto and is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She completed her graduate training at the George Hull Centre for Children and Families and St. Michael’s Hospital (Obstetrics and Gynecology). Since 2010, Josie has accrued experience in a variety of settings such as children and family agencies, hospital, rehabilitation clinics, and primary health care.

Josie has training in evidence-based treatment approaches such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, emotionally focused therapy, imago therapy, solution-focused, and mindfulness practices. Drawing from multiple approaches, Josie is able to tailor therapy to fit your specific needs. In addition to working with individuals with common issues such as depression, anxiety, stress and grief, her specific areas of expertise include couples counselling, women’s issues such as post-partum depression and adjustment to parenthood.
